Founded in 1822, the Society welcomes new members who are Scots born or who have a Scottish parent or grandparent, as well as the husband or wife of a Scot or someone of recent Scottish descent. If you would like to join us simply click on the button on the left for an application form, print it off, fill it in and send it to the address shown. The form contains details about the qualifications for membership.

The Society is very active socially, staging annual events such as Hogmanay and Burns night, and has numerous hotly contested sporting cups. There is also a Bridge group, Theatre group, Scottish Country Dance Class and the Scottish Arts Group which meets to express interest in varied subjects with a relevance to Scotland.
